If you suspect that you may have an STD, do not hesitate to make an appointment with one of our gynecologists as soon as possible. Many STDs are treatable, and we can educate you on how to prevent getting or spreading them. Please call us today at (586) 574-1313 to get tested for STDs, including HIV and AIDS.

Endometriosis

Endometriosis is a common condition among females. It is the abnormal growth of uterine lining tissue outside of the uterus. Endometriosis needs monitoring, and treatment may be necessary to relieve pain and prevent complications, such as the inability to get pregnant.

Uterine Fibroids

Uterine fibroids are common, usually non-cancerous tumors that grow in or on the uterus. They may or may not cause symptoms, such as pain or heavy periods, depending on their size and location.

Bothersome fibroids are treated with medications or surgery. Our experienced female gynecologists are ready to discuss your concerns and treatment options with you. At Mission OB GYN, your health and comfort are our main concerns.

Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS)

Polycystic ovarian syndrome is a common hormonal disorder that can cause infertility, excess hair growth, and heavy, irregular, or absent periods.
